It is still a lengthy process to recover this though, I think that so far I have had to recover in excess of 10,000 photo's and i'm not half way through yet. The original problem where it just created picture after picture has been fixed. I have now found a satisfactory method after realising that JpegSnoop had been updated, this allows you to recover batches of files in one go. I will have a look at the issues again tonight and report back. Priyal, it just refused to work, this is on a different Windows 10 PC from the original infected one. However the majority of the files are corrupt. crypted file, so even though it may have changed the file it doesn't actually mean that it is encrypted. Mitchell, the person who owns the PC in question certainly loves to take a picture, I think with Nemucod it encrypts some files but changes all of them to show as a.
